Saturday 29th of June, 2019
9:30 – Bus pickup Prague to wedding location (Bus will leave 9:45)
11:00 – Bus arrives at Wedding Location
11:00-12:30 – All guest will arrive (don’t be late)
13:00 – Official Wedding Ceremony
14:00 – Lunch & breaking the plate
16:00 – Sweet bar opening (cutting the cake)
18:00 – Dinner
19:00 – First Dance & Live music
19:45 – Throwing the bouquet
20:45 – Throwing the garter
23:30 – Snacks served in the Mill & Continue Partying
Where is it all going down?
To make it easier for everybody, everything from the ceremony, through lunch to the party will take place at one location – Mlýn Davídkov. This beautiful old mill that was probably build in 14th century is approximately 1 hour from Prague. It is placed in the middle of small valley with private pond, swimming pool, horses and other great stuff.

Transport & Parking
Because most guests will travel to the wedding location from Prague, we will arrange a special transport – bus or minibuses. It will take you Saturday morning to the wedding location and then Sunday morning back to Prague.
Bus:
Prague to wedding location (Sat 29):
M. Horákové 109/116, 160 00 Praha 6-Letná (Tesco Expres)
Bus pickup is at 9:30 am. You will find the bus at Hradčanská Metro/tram stop. The bus will be parked in front of Tesco Express and will leave at 9:45 am. So do not be late 🙂 The bus will arrive at the wedding location approximately 11:00 am.
Back to Prague (Sunday 30):
The bus will be leave back to Prague at 12:00 pm from the wedding location. You will be back in Prague approximately 13:15 pm.
Parking:
If you plan to come by your own car, there are parking spots right in front of the entrance to Mlýn Davídkov . Refer to the picture below. Blue areas are for parking. There will be staff helping to navigate you.
Taxi:
If you prefer, you can also take a taxi, that would cost from Prague to the location approximately 1 500 CZK.
Where will I stay after stumbling home?
Mlýn Davídkov has accommodation capacity for about 90 people.
Let us know, please, if you are interested to stay with us over night at the wedding location when replying to the invitation.
Food & Drinks
Food
All food (except couple types of dessert on Sweet bar) will be 100 % nut-free.
There are food options for vegetarians, vegans, lactose & gluten intolerant.
Drinks
- Beer (Pilsner Urquel)
- White, red & pink wine
- Hruskovice & Merunkovice (traditional Czech liqueur)
- And of course non-alcoholic drinks 😉
- If you will be interested in opening a bottle of other type of alcohol, it will be possible after bribing the bride with 500 CZK in cash and placing it under her garter.
Wedding Gifts
We have gotten a couple messages asking what we would like for the wedding. We feel all of you joining us for this celebration is an amazing gift. But if you insist on getting us something we would like to ask if you could donate to our honeymoon fund or to an experience (wine tasting, paddle boarding, night somewhere). We are trying to keep a minimal life style/keep clutter down so no bread makers please 😉
What should we wear?
Our wedding is special day for us so we would like to keep formal or semi-formal dress code. But be also aware that the ceremony will take place near a pond on the grass, so make sure you have comfortable shoes.
Main colors: pink & turquoise
Theme: Traveling! If you have any cute details on this topic (maps, globes, suitcases etc.) feel free to wear them!
Don’t forget the location has a lot of potential. There is swimming pool, horses, football field, nature etc. So if you plan to do any of these activities, make sure you have proper clothes for that. Bathing suite is almost must – it might be a hot day 🙂
